LSE BSc Management gives you a solid ground to enter a corporate job, if it is what you wish to do. There are a lot of opportunities to get engaged with NGOs and social sciences, however, you need to be more proactive, as the programme is designed to set you up for a job in Finance/Management Consulting/Corporate. The programme is modular which means you can choose the courses you take and design your speciality – whether you want to focus more on Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, or Statistics and Quantitative Sciences. Career prospects are good outside of the UK, however, the London job market is highly competitive, meaning you will be in the mix with people who have roughly the same qualifications.
View moreI really like the campus and its small size and single location make it feel more like a community, and more likely to bump into your friends. The best thing about this university is that it brings a lot of opportunities and prospects for the future.
View moreOverall, the university strives to put students into great post-graduate programs and career programs. However, I believe that career opportunities are the goal of the university; whereas, I see a lack of some educational initiatives. For example, classes are somewhat pointless – going over homework, and everything is recorded, which disincentives students from going to class. I feel as if I could be learning much more.
The facilities are nice yet also usually overcrowded.
View moreSometimes feels less communal than a typical campus uni (due to construction and London location) but it is still easy to meet people and have a great overall experience if you put yourself out there!
View moreUnparalleled opportunities, only at the london school of economics. Very international friendly. academically rigorous and career focused. Never regretted coming here! Filled with smart and fun people.
View moreLSE is a highly underrated university when it comes to rankings. It is not only an university with unique class modules but also one which encourages young minds to be their own leaders. The amount of value a student’s voice holds in the university is quite commendable, and not everyone is able to appreciate all the opportunities provided by it. The only drawback is that a student has to have the strong will and desire to push oneselves out of her/his comfort zone and involve in all the activities to appreciate the university fully.
View moreLSE is a very reputable university in London. However, the program is very disappointing as it was not very structured and there are a lot of overlapping courses. Besides, the teaching quality is very bad. Although there are a lot of professors from well-known universities like Harvard – it does not guarantee how they deliver the sessions. It was very disappointing.
View moreLSE is a prestigious university that provides students with strong academics foundation as well as many career opportunities. I enjoy my life here as a student as I have the chance to make many like-minded friends.
View moreIf you are a career-oriented person and/or have a clear career plan, LSE can definitely benefit you. The school not only provides various job and volunteer opportunities, but also has great connections with companies and holds many multiple career fairs very week.
