Master’s degree basically feels like the extension of undergrad. Too many students, not enough teaching staffs. Some lecturers also don’t seem to be interested in teaching—they’d prefer researching instead. You’d be paired up with academic mentor randomly, whose expertise often doesn’t match your dissertation topic. If you’re lucky you’ll have supportive mentors. If you don’t, you’ll be stuck with moody mentors who barely remember or interested in what you’re writing.
