LSE is a really career-focused university with really competent people residing in it. With constant networking sessions or career fairs or companies giving talks or external speakers invited to either give lectures or talks, you will definitely get an insight on any financial industry you want to work in next time.
LSE will entail a lot of self studying but at the same time, more than sufficient guidance will be provided, either in the form of peer-to-peer sessions, academic support or drop-in sessions with lecturers. In a way, it really prepares you for the real life environment where you will have to be self-motivated to thrive.
I really like this university as you will really get to meet people of different nationalities and backgrounds, but at the same time have somewhat a common goal. To be successful. But really putting in the work and effort in, with the never-ending pressure to apply for spring weeks or summer internships or joining a society that is work-related. Along with, the networks that you would be able to build up and the pressure to always continue improving.
I would recommend LSE if you’re really looking to succeed in the financial industry and willing to put in the work for it.
