Hi, I’m Devin Booker, a first-year student at the University of Hull. From day one, I’ve fallen in love with the campus and made friends from all over the world. The welcoming atmosphere of the university encourages interactions between students, and I often meet up with my classmates in the library. I appreciate the face-to-face teaching style, which encourages lively debates and discussions. With small classes, I stay focused and the professors are always available for guidance. Courses on organisational culture, complemented by visits to companies in Hull and beyond, have been invaluable. Studying in the historic centre of Kingston upon Hull is amazing, surrounded by international students and vibrant cultural venues. So far, my experience has been exceptional and I’m learning a lot.
