My time at Exeter has been immensely enjoyable. I am entering my fourth year as a student here, having completed three as an undergraduate studying History. What is most satisfactory about this University is the rounded experience you get. It occupies the unique role of being both a campus and city University, interweaving beautiful greenery with a well a state of the art learning environment. Student housing, campus, and the city are all within a 15 minute walk of each other. This means you have freedom to spend however much time you wish in each environment. The University has plenty of study space, as well as buildings dedicated to each course so you can study around your peers with ease.

This university has one of the largest campuses in the UK which one can clearly notice in the first few days of freshman year. The university is split into 3 campuses in fact with the main one being Streatham campus. It is a very beautiful campus full of greenery in a small yet beautiful British town. The only downside is that the campus was constructed on a hill so for people walking from their accommodations to classes and back is quite a tiresome trek. However, as it’s located in a typical British town it has several classic pubs to relax in. It has a very large student population however, at first sight, it does not look very diverse as you will primarily bump into mainly British and Asian students. Eventually, in a few weeks you will find your own group of friends to connect with whether it be in your course or accommodations.
