Doncaster College and University Centre is an operating division of DN Colleges Group. It is one of the largest provider of further education in South Yorkshire and surroundings. Doncaster College’s roots can be traced back to 1870, to when further education was delivered at a range of small locations within Doncaster. Nowadays, the college offers a wide range of courses: vocational, academic, apprenticeships and progression into Higher Education pathways. In 2016, 73 students aged between 14 and 16 studied one of the programmes offered at Doncaster College. 2,997 of the students enrolled were 16 to 18 years old. The majority of students was aged 19 and over. 805 undergraduate and 237 postgraduate students attended Doncaster College the same year. The outstanding apprenticeship options were undertaken by 1,120 students. The Hub Campus is Doncaster College’s main campus. It is a state-of-the-art and modern learning environment, providing its students with the latest equipment. It owns one some of the best facilities nationwide. The college was rated “Good” in all aspects by the most recent Ofsted report in 2017. The academic staff are highly qualified. The college employs around 760 staff members, among those are many industry professionals.
