City of Westminster College is one of London’s top vocational colleges. It is a further education institution with two centres in Paddington and Maida Vale. The facilities also include the Cockpit Theatre which is a fully operational studio theatre that is used for training and performances. The college offers hundreds of courses to thousands of students each year, to 7,000 students to be exact. It’s conveniently located to 2 Underground stations, making it accessible to everyone. City of Westminster College prides itself in providing a diverse learning environment- over 40% of students speak English as a second language and there are over 50 first languages spoken at the campuses. The college is Ofsted-rated “good”. The courses are a mixture of vocational and academic courses, such as BTEC, City & Guilds and NVQ qualifications, GCSE and A Levels. The college also offers higher education courses, including Foundation and Bachelor of Science Degrees and Higher National Certificates (HNC) in the fields of Sport, Digital Media, Construction, Engineering and Science. City of Westminster College works closely together with other universities across the United Kingdom. It is an associate partner of Middlesex University and University of Westminster.
