Academics at Brunel Business School

The School offers Undergraduate courses, Postgraduate courses, MBA and Research/PhD programmes.

The Undergraduate form of education provides an opportunity for students to develop their business skills in different areas, such as Marketing, Human Resource Management, Business Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Accounting and others. Brunel Business School provides another programme for students who wish to establish a network with SMEs and entrepreneurs. By undertaking the “Co-Innovate” programme, students work with innovative companies and support them in developing new products and services.

There are nine postgraduate courses, through which Brunel Business School supports the development of future business professionals. One of the best sides of Postgraduate education there is the opportunity to do a full-time placement as part of the course. Depending on the course, Postgraduate students could choose some of their modules for the academic year, which allows them to shape the course according to their own preferences and needs.

The MBA programmes available at Brunel Business School are separated into two categories – full-time and part-time. The first option represents a one-year intensive course, which covers between 7 and 10 modules. The School offers three-course pathways – General Management, Digital Innovation Management and Healthcare Management. In addition to their course, MBA students are encouraged to take part in a Leadership Master Series. The second option (part-time MBA) is a two-year programme, appropriate for people who already work on a full-time basis or have families that they need to take care of and spend time with.

The PhD programmes cover a range of business areas. Some of the courses take place in Bahrain, which is an opportunity for future successful researchers to explore a new culture in the capital city of Manama for three years – at Ahlia University, Bahrain.

Campus & Student Life

The location of the Business School is close to the main campus and a sports park. Cafés, stores and the University Library are less than 10 minutes away.

The University offers a rich student life thanks to its wide variety of societies, the number of which exceeds 100. Students, who are truly passionate about something that doesn’t already exist, have the opportunity to create their own society.

When it comes to sports, the University offers a wide range of sports clubs for all students, regardless of whether they want to play competitively, stay fit or just have fun with friends. Sports scholarships are also awarded to outstanding members of the University’s sports clubs. All sports clubs train and play at world-class facilities, which have been used by some of the world’s top athletes, such as Usain Bolt.

Career & Alumni

Brunel Business School supports students’ career development through the Professional Development Center. In order to develop further skills in a real-world professional environment, Brunel Business School undergraduates are given the opportunity to undertake a placement year between the second and the third year of their programme.
