Brighton is good, it’s nice and pretty but the music courses suck. Go to BIMM or somewhere else as Brighton won’t teach you actual music. The university would seriously benefit if they listened to what the students have to say but our voices don’t seem to be taken into consideration. Some positives include good group work, good placement offers, and great nightlife.

The course is a bit rubbish, a lot of students are disappointed with the lack of wanted content. However the nightlife and everything else about Brighton is great, however, the uni side of things could definitely be improved.

I’m resitting the year and the uni has supported me non stop through it, which I can’t thank them enough for. However the course I study has a collective amount of disappointment from the students regarding the lack of wanted content on my course. It’s alright, it’s meh, it’s not bad, but it’s not good, if you’re actually passionate about music then you won’t be considering Brighton for a music course.
