I started this course in January 2021, I was quite excited, to begin with as the university is highly rated. But, the first year being completely online, left a lot to be desired. The course materials were fine for the most part. Well suited for the course and well taught in their own right. But I’d say out of the five modules in the first year, I found one to be mostly useless to me. I also expected a more practical learning environment, but the first year was mostly a theoretical learning experience, which might be due to it being online only. I have recently started my second year, which is on campus, and am already feeling better about it having taken just two classes yet.
I am at the Cambridge campus, which has a very nice student life and feels very safe, relatively speaking. There are also great facilities at the university campus and many extracurriculars and groups to join. Great teaching and support staff as well. There is a very diverse crowd at the university, so no matter where one is from, you fit right in.
All in all, I would say Anglia Ruskin University is definitely worth a good look when looking for a UK business school outside of London.
