When I was in high school, my friends and I were very hype about university and we were full of expectations, but this university could not fulfill my expectations, its not even close to universities in the TV series and movies, I think it is a weak university especially in terms of social activities. I wouldn’t recommend it to people

I definitely recommend to any student who studies at the department of engineering. the univesity is well known in Turkey. school facilities are more than enough. It has a wide variety and cheap refectory.

This is the university that you can learn anything. I will never forget the lessons which I took from Yıldız Technical University. YTU is in the top 10 universities in Turkey. There is a metro line in front of the university. I recommend that you should lay down in “Orta Bahçe” in the spring semester.

Yildiz Technical University is one of the leading universities in technical branch. There are many different engineering programs. University is located in two different campuses in Istanbul. Mathematical Engineering teaches students with different perspectives of math and science. Additionaly, program includes software development to educate mathematics engineers with software knowledge. If students practice during their education, they can prefer to be software engineer with basic knowledge they received during bachelor degree. Thereafter students can easily find jobs related to software development.

One of the oldest Technical universities in Turkey and still one of the best of the state ones.

Used to have the best location in Beşiktaş but new campus does not have the same advantage.

Some departments have very experienced and intellectual professors. Need to investigate the departments individually. But the name; still a reputable one.

Second biggest campus in ıstanbul. It’s very relaxed and cosy especially in spring.
Professors are mostly old, but pretty experienced.
Yıldız technic’s deficiency is project based opportunities for students.
Also, the campus is away from the hearth of the city.
All in all, ıt still is in best 3 technical universities in Turkey.
