Koç University strongly encourages academic exploration, and double majors are genuinely supported. If you meet the requirements, you can pursue a double major with a wide range of departments, and the scholarship extension for one additional year makes it financially realistic to complete it properly.
The faculty is academically strong and approachable. Many professors are open to involving students in research, and if you show initiative, it’s possible to find meaningful research experience even as an undergraduate. The university also offers multiple exchange opportunities, which makes international exposure more accessible.
Beyond academics, student clubs and sports teams are active and there are many communities to join. One downside is that event planning can sometimes be inconsistent, so some activities may get canceled or face organizational issues. Overall, I would recommend Koç to students who want a challenging environment with real academic opportunities and flexibility.
