Studying at the University of Amsterdam has been a rewarding experience, particularly because of its diverse international community and strong commitment to rigorous, quality academics. Learning alongside students from all over the world has enriched my education immensely. The central campus location places you right in the heart of the city’s vibrant culture and offers ample opportunities to socialise and build connections, if that’s something you’re interested in. While the facilities are excellent, finding a quiet study spot during peak exam periods can be a challenge. One notable initiative is the university’s increasing emphasis on sustainability, including ambitious projects such as creating a zero-waste campus – efforts that are motivating students to adopt more environmentally friendly habits.
