Student review [#20236] for Social Anthropology
at University of Amsterdam - UvA

I love the atmosphere in UvA. The people in my program could not be better. Everyone is very friendly and excited to be there but at the same time smart and interesting to talk to. The university itself has a modern vibe but is not too exciting which doesn’t even matter because Amsterdam is exciting itself. The program so far has been easy to follow and the professors take their time to explain things, however the readings can be a little overwhelming (as in most other universities). The university is very good with being hands on and making sure the students are doing well and there’s a lot of options for those who need an extra push. Overall, really good experience at the UvA but beware of the rain!
