Academics at TIAS School for Business and Society

TIAS is focused on delivering management education to students who have already gained some experience in the professional business environment. It offers MBA, Master, Advanced, Masterclass, TIAS8hr and InCompany programs. The TIAS8hr programs are an innovative concept of delivering education to students in different disciplines over the course of one day at most. InCompany programs are customized programs offered both nationally and internationally. They are developed in collaboration with the client requesting them in order to tailor them to the client’s needs of transforming their organization.

All Programs can be taught on campus, online and in a hybrid form that combines both methods of delivery. Depending on their choice of program, students will either study in English or Dutch. Staff delivering lectures have extensive experience and a solid foundation in their teaching field. They focus on developing inquisitive and critical thinking among students. Teaching is organized in small classes in order to encourage students to share knowledge and ideas during lectures. Additionally, each program has a program manager who assists students in need and provides advice on how to achieve a good work-life balance throughout the duration of their program.

TIAS School for Business and Society has many campuses, but the campuses in Tilburg and Utrecht are considered to be the most important ones.

Career & Alumni

TIAS has an Alumni network of more than 16,000 people in 75 countries. The Alumni network helps graduates to establish new contacts and find various career opportunities through network meetings and reunions, which are organized frequently. Alumni are entitled to a 10% discount on the TIAS open programs as well as a free Master Class if they introduce a new student to the TIAS Master or MBA programs. The School offers alumni lifelong development packages, each of which focuses either on online development, networking aimed at innovation or inspiration for personal development. Consulting services are also provided to alumni in order to help them in their search for the right career path.
