at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences

NHL Stenden University adopts a hands-on, practical approach to learning, encouraging students to take charge of their educational journey through self-study. This design-based education methodology is something I deeply appreciate and value, as I believe in learning through practical application of theory. However, I’ve noticed a slight deficiency in the amount of theoretical content being taught. While I enjoy the freedom in my schedule, I believe incorporating a balanced mix of theory alongside practical application can greatly enhance students’ academic growth. it would be nice if NHL Stenden provided students with more of the necessary foundational knowledge rather than assuming they possess it already.

Apart from the lack of basic theory, I feel that NHL Stenden provides their students with a very comfortable learning environement. All my professors have been incredibly supportive in my learning journey and are always available to address any questions or concerns.

I’m thorougly enjoying my experience at NHL Stenden so far!
