Academically, it’s a top-tier university with a great reputation. However, the PBL system can be hit or miss depending on your group’s motivation and the tutor. The workload is quite high and the pace is fast. The biggest downside is the housing crisis in Maastricht. Finding a room is extremely difficult and expensive, so you need to start looking months in advance. Overall, it’s a challenging but valuable experience.
