NHL Stenden has been a great experience for me as a Business Administration student, particularly because of its practical, hands-on approach to learning. Courses like Operations Management, Consulting, and Marketing Strategy have allowed me to apply real-world concepts directly to my studies. The professors emphasize practical learning through case studies and group projects, which has been invaluable for developing my skills. They are always supportive and willing to help when needed.

The campus is equipped with great facilities, including study spaces and project areas, providing an ideal environment to collaborate. One downside is that class sizes sometimes don’t match the room size, either being too large or too small, but teachers and students work together to address this. Another challenge is that project requirements are occasionally unclear, but the course materials and professors are always available to assist.

The international environment is a standout feature, allowing me to interact with students from all over the world and learn about different cultures.

Overall, I recommend NHL Stenden to students looking for a practical, hands-on approach to learning. While there are occasional challenges with class sizes and project clarity, the real-world focus, supportive environment, and global atmosphere make it a great place to study and grow. I am not gonna lie, it changed the perspective I have on my self and on the world.

As a first-year Business Administration student at NHL Stenden, my journey so far has been exciting, challenging, and full of growth. Whether it’s working together on group projects or just grabbing coffee after class, we’re constantly meeting people with different culture. Of course, no program is perfect. NHL Stenden uses a unique teaching method called Design-Based Education, which focuses a lot on self-directed learning and working in teams. It can sometimes feel a bit confusing or overwhelming, especially in the beginning. There are moments when you might feel lost or unsure of what’s expected, but after sometimes you can take the lead and figure out everything.
Overall, my experience has been incredibly rewarding. The mix of practical learning, the supportive environment, and the chance to meet people from around the world makes it a very special program specially for people who wants to build a strong foundation in business while growing personally and professionally.
