When I first stepped onto the campus of this university, I was left in awe of the atmosphere. This campus is bustling and encourages you to show your best sides. There are multiple creative spaces such as the Innovation hub, Speakers Corner and the Lighthouse. Collaborative spaces for group work can be found at every corner of the building. Besides the splendid vibes, the values and critical thinking taught in this uni are simply unique. A student in this university gains critical thinking skills through problem-based learning and collaboration with peers. To give an example, professors encourage students to search for answers themselves before asking the question out loud. Although it may seem weird, oftentimes the students reach answers themselves. On the matter of teaching styles, the professors show a facilitated method of learning, taking a more passive role in teaching to allow for student deduction of students and problem-solving skills to develop. This university places its students in difficult situations and encourages thinking. Application of concepts is crucial and separates this uni from others. Practical assignments are scarily similar to real life situations and increase the students employability greatly.
There are, of course, some downsides to the programme. Disorganisation of the programme is notable, where sometimes classes would be double-booked, and there is a sense that the staff do not really know what they are doing.
