Muhimbili University is the first established medical university college in Tanzania, founded in 1963 to train medical doctors and fill the gap in medical personnel in post-colonial Tanzania. Located in Dar es Salaam, the university is currently one of the leading medical universities in healthcare, training, research, and consultancy services in East Africa.

Academic Excellence:
MUHAS offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, and allied sciences. The curriculum is competency-based, with a strong emphasis on practical training, community engagement, and problem-solving skills. The university also hosts specialized programs in emerging fields such as genomics, bioinformatics, and global health.

Clinical Training and Facilities
