Karolinska is doing a very good job in creating a great educational foundation for becoming a psychologist. With a lot of research done, there are several great and knowledgeable professors. It provides a lot for future work in the area.

The university is just using the master courses as a way to get money. Teachers are not invested whatsoever in the students, neither is the course coordinator, not the student counsellor or the education committee. The teachers will do anything to reduce their burden, such as only giving group work. If you decide to do the thesis on your own, (they recommend to write it in pairs of two) be prepared to be completely by yourself! There is a lot of overlap in the courses and the pace is slow. The library has very little books, forcing you to buy them basically. Would not recommend anyone to go there.

A University in which high quality research takes place in a very international environment. Seminars and talks from top notch speakers are held in a very frequent basis. However, the master programmes could be improved in terms of structural organisation and condensation due to overlapping topics. Fully equipped facilities, great support from the library staff and the whole international community. Highly recommended!
