Pros:
– Competitive nature
– Elite society (due to high cost)
– High adaptability even in the harsh conditions of the Sudanese geopolitical scene
– Accredited internationally
– Research-focused
– More equipped than most medical schools in Sudan
– Overall a great clinical-to-basic-sciences experience
– Started a lot of extracurricular activities after war
– Became very open in terms of culture especially in the Rwanda campus
Cons:
– Lack of official scholarship application pathways versus the very high cost (in terms of Sudanese population income)
– Administration is a bit stiff with decisions and might not take considerations
– No official institution emails (very hard to explain especially in publications)
Recommended in the case that you are a high-income individual in Sudan or Rwanda. Internationally, there might be better options. Great options for Africans!
