University of Colombo provides. independency for it students. It has provided the opportunity to build various clubs, societies, unions and has given space to advocate various idealogies. The academic staff is also more lenient towards pushing students for extra curricular activities, thereby support their growth emotional and physically wellbeing. However when it comes to education, due to most of the academic staff going abroad, there has been a shortage of knowledge sharing. Other tha. this it is a safe and growing space for students.
