I’m still studying at said university so I’m still learning new things about it every day, I consider it a very good university due to its facilities being in good conditions, its labs being very modern and the great amount of erasmus students. There is a huge cultural interchange which is something I would highlight.
The only thing I do not like is having to take the metro to attend my classes, but apart from that I would say I have no other complaints
A university that falls within the definition of CAMPUS, with multiple facilities and a lot of cultural diversity. A suitable place for those who want to break away from the universities that only focus on teaching, here they will find a variety of activities and careers that will contribute a lot on a personal and professional level.
View moreMy stay at the UPO was 4 months, but they were quite good, in all respects, ambient, campus layout, professors, etc … I left wanting to return, and also it is a university that was made some 10 years and the truth, that I was very surprised with everything that I found.
View moreI have studied Translation and Interpreting at the UPO and what I would like to emphasize from this university is the eminently practical approach of the degree: in a great part of the subjects, a great value is given to the work of continuous evaluation. In the same way, there is a special effort on the part of the teachers to approach the real professional context of the translation sector; An especially positive aspect in this sense is that there is an option of 4th course on vocational guidance and job search. In addition, I underline the continued support of the Faculty of Humanities, reflected in the organization of conferences and congresses, as well as the facilities that the university gives to mobility programs. On the other hand, as negative aspects of the university, I emphasize the slowness of bureaucratic and administrative processes (something not exclusive to this university, on the other hand), the scheduling of schedules, the distances between different areas of the campus and, above Everything, the management of teacher drop-outs and the process of hiring substitute teachers: a real disaster that is manifested in, for example, the hiring of people without training in Interpretation as teachers of up to 3 subjects of Interpretation.
