I am currently studying for my degree at the University of the Basque Country and will be starting my final year. My experience so far has been generally very positive. What I would highlight the most are the elective courses — that’s where I truly felt I learned and grew academically. They offer a more up-to-date and applicable perspective, with content that has proven useful even outside the classroom.
One area that could be improved is the practical side of the program. In many courses, the final grade depends solely on the exam, which doesn’t always reflect what has been learned or help prepare students for the professional world. Adding more practical work and real-life case studies would better connect students with real-world scenarios.
As for the teaching staff, most are well-prepared and open to dialogue, and the campus environment is good. Overall, I would recommend this university — especially if you take advantage of the elective subjects and supplement your studies with external internships.
