The university has an extensive list of degrees, I was in the science area and I’m so grateful for all the teachers and administrative space.
The science program is complete, and the teachers care about your learning.
Even though the university is a little bit far from the city center, there are significant areas for reuniting with your friends.

Despite being a small city, the research carried out at the University of Burgos is of great quality and innovative. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the teachers are attentive and open to new proposals.

The University of Burgos has a huge number of bachelor, masters and doctoral degree if we understand that is a small town.

In my own experience (History and cultural heritage bachelor degree and Master in Human evolution) lecturers are really good with the students and help us in everything we need.

They offer a good amount of facilities to researchers with good spaces and materials.

Burgos university campus is placed in a green area than inspires the students to open their minds to new knowledge and experiences. Is has been recently improved by I+D laboratory equiped with pioneer technology.

It is a university of level, good professionals and good material. For any kind of doubt or complication they are there to help you. I recommend accessing any degree at this university

To be a public university does not have a bad infrastructure, (new laboratories in science) perhaps is somewhat scarce with respect to the number of specialties. In my case I did studies of infant education in the faculty of education, part of the teaching staff was professional and competent but in some cases they left something to be desired (filias and phobias towards certain out of place students). If we talk about the administrative staff in general is quite bad, in my case in my first registration I got my password badly on several occasions and I had to personarme being from another autonomous community. In addition at the time the academic records did not have the sheet that homologated them at European level as other universities such as Cantabria. In general terms I think it is quite good and I had a good experience with what I would recommend it.

My experience was very positive, in law, in the hospital of the King. Small classes, so the contact with the teachers is close. And in general the teachers seem pretty fair to me – they demand what they teach. Being the small classes, the result in my opinion is a better learning.

The Universidad de Burgos (UBU) is located in the castilian town of Burgos. Contrary to what stereotypes say about Spain, Burgos resembles some northeuropean towns, although the social environment can be easily acknowledged as Spanish, of course.

It’s a small university indeed, but it’s open to international stage: many relationships with other universities have been recently stablished, from Europe, Mexico, and even China (Chongqing University). Besides, its size has allowed me to have a more familiar relationships with all the staff. There are also plenty of Erasmus students to and fro. It’s quite easy to find an Erasmus grant to travel anywhere else in Europe for one year. What else … ? 😀 Ah! you can attend some subjects in english, so take a look!

Despite being a relatively small town, Burgos and UBU ‘ve got a good cultural scene, and what’s more: in just 2 hours by car, you can reach Madrid, so it’s perfect for a different weekend.

I’d like to highlight my own degree, Comunicación audiovisual (Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication). Lately it’s become one of the best of its kind, and is followed by students from everywhere in Spain and abroad. Thanks to it, I consider myself ready to face my professional career.

Some of my fellow students have successfully applied for a job as a professor. I consider this as a great opportunity, though not for me: I found something else ins the first place, but … who knows …
