It is considered that generation Y is the generation with the most creative minds. Thus, millennials tend to express themselves through various forms, such as Art and Design.
Degrees in Art and Design aim to empower students to use art as a tool for self-expression. This degree is designed to develop visual perception as well as visual literacy. As a result, students gain practical skills in order to turn their imaginative ideas into reality.
Unlike many programmes, Art and Design courses improve students’ attention to detail, creative thinking, and freedom in the decision-making process.
Art and Design is a competitive industry. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to be equipped with the necessary skills to have higher chances of being employed in this field.
In general, graduates from this degree have a wide range of employment options once they finish their studies. The advantage of an Art and Design course is that you are highly employable for other industries too – there are numerous courses that would help to develop specialised skills for specific careers.
Some particular job areas include – apart from being an artist – community worker, fashion designer, graphic designer, illustrator, advertising executive, and multimedia worker. Many Art and Design graduates find themselves using their skills in marketing, media, or even teaching.
Art and Design degrees are part of Bachelor of Art (BA) Degrees. Courses’ structure and length depend on what type of programme you choose to study and the country where you choose to study. Usually, Art and Design courses are a three-year commitment, although there are countries – like the USA – where you need to study for at least four years.
The most remarkable aspect about this degree is that it emphasises the practical knowledge. Courses are often taught in studios, as a form of workshops. Additionally, students are assessed based on their portfolios of work, which may be exhibited to the public.
I would definitely recommend EU Business School to other students. I was able to learn a lot of new skills, and adapt to a new and different environment. The courses were as expected and the professors were very supportive and friendly. I got to learn about many different cultures and met a lot of outgoing people. The staff at EU are understanding and caring and will go out of their way to help the students. As international students, we attended many lectures and workshops with several famous CEOs which I found very interesting and nourishing. The only suggestion I would advise the University to fix is some of the material, since they tend to be overlapping at times. To conclude, I will never forget my experience at Eu Business School Barcelona, I had the best times there and built some friendships I will never forget.
View moreWhat I really like about the uni is the diversity and multicultural environment, the facilities, student service was very responsive and corporative and the location of the campus, While the program and professors still an average and our post-graduation still unclear in terms of job opportunities
View moreAfter finishing my Bachelor’s in the Netherlands, I choose to further develop myself by doing a Master’s. I wanted to have some more International experience so I chose to study in Barcelona. EU Business School has a good reputation so that’s why I chose the Master’s program over there.
My Masters started last September (2020), and I have now been studying at EU for a bit less than 6 months. I’m very pleased with the university. The teachers are nice and really show interest in learning the students about their profession (teachers are way less involved in the Netherlands).
An important thing that I didn’t like too much is the fact that it is hard to interact with other students especially now with the whole COVID situation. EU Business School didn’t really offer opportunities to get to know other students that are enrolled in different programs. But I of course understand that this is hard to organize.
Overall it has been a great experience studying at EU Business School and I’m looking forward to the upcoming months.
View moreFor get an opportunity to live abroad is a good experience as you grow as a person being far from where you know to be your comfort zone, Barcelona as a whole is a good choice for anyone looking to expand and acquire great experiences along the way.
View moreEU Business School is one of the most international schools in Barcelona. i loved my experience a lot because it made me know a lot of people and become very aware of different cultures and perspectives
View moremy EU experience was something new for me as an international student. i loved the teachers were very friendly but i didn’t like the system much. also, the campuses were okay. and the courses need a bit adjustments in my opinion
View moreOne one of the positive points about the EU business school is they implemented lots of masterclasses that give you a chance to visit large companies and meet professionals.
They have a career center that helps you with your CV, they are patient and give you good advice.
The subjects and headline choose wisely and up to date. About professors, some of them are knowledgeable and transfer data by practical examples and case studies, and unfortunately, some of them are confused or have problems with transferring data and just read from slides!!
Overall, it’s a good place to learn a lot s of a new thing, it’s up to you how to use this time!
EU offers a high level of internationality and good career contacts for alumni and students, also, has some experienced and well-known professionals as professors. Considerable GAP between online and on-campus model, for the price, quality should be the same.
View moreMy uni experience was not that good and was not the worst too. But i had a really bad experience with a professor which was very unprofessional and very unhelpful. And also she failed me a course without a single comment. So that experience with this professor made me do not like the uni. But also there was professional professors too.
