You really learn to become disciplined and independent, which is a valuable skill in the real world. Some lecturers are very responsive and helpful, especially during exam periods. That said, you do need patience. Administration can be slow at times, and feedback on assignments isn’t always immediate. If you’re someone who needs constant face to face support, it might feel challenging.
