View moreAttending the First-Year Student Thrive Session at Nelson Mandela University was a fantastic way to start my university journey. The session was well-organized and provided valuable insights on how to navigate student life effectively. The presenters were engaging and offered practical advice on time management, academic success, and campus resources. It was also a great opportunity to meet other first-year students and build connections. I would highly recommend this session to new students as it sets a strong foundation for a successful university experience.
View moreEverything was fine from lecturers to the facility everything was amazing and the infrastructure it is eye attracting it’s amazing and the nature reserve it’s amazing the lecturers as well as the FYS buddies who help students understand and be able to adapt to a new environment
View moreso far everything has been really good I’m enjoying our sections the lectures (especially miss penny) look strict but I’m sure as time goes by we will all get along as for my fellow students I’m quite shy but I at least managed to talk to some people and I’m glad. and I’m in love with our buddy I can tell that she is an understanding person and is willing to help you in any way possible
View moreThe University is a very good place. The statues and sculptures give it more dignity. The lecturers were welcoming and nice. The library and the lecture rooms are so clean and tidy. The fact that it is located in a nature reserve area is a great thing for me.
View moreIt was very informative but the information was given in very large quantities with not many breaks however it was very helpful and informative on the resources available as well as different perspectives from the FYS buddies on how to survive varsity life though I would’ve loved a bit more advise on how to adjust to the new environment and a bit more context on the level of difficulty to expect, and what would be the most challenging as well as how to combat that overall it was really nice.
View moreFor as far as it is good, and interesting since it is close to ocean and all the funny stuff, but most of the lectures were the red flag, yhea there are some lectures that s good at what they’re doing, but most of them were inadequate, lecture slides, long and uninteresting work and all that. Yes they have to be intensive, but at the same time we should as student have a moment to enjoy their modules not that we’re doing the module and kinda feel distressed everytime when it’s time to study it or something like that.
View moreThe university is amazing. The only thing that raise alarms is the fact we don’t use student cards to access the premises which makes it easy for everyone to access the university. But other wise it’s an amazing school
