SPU is a university that is still developing in South Africa with limited courses. As it is still developing, the university ensures that they add atleast 2 or more courses each year. This university is perfectly good for first entering students as it makes sure that they feel at home and the university priorities the first year students so they do not feel lost and scared around campus. The first year student receives laptops after registering and get located to their rooms same day , they do not have yo sleep on the halls during registration because of lack of shelter. The only problem about SPU is that they do not really care about returning students when it comes to accommodation, these groups of students are often forced to look for accommodation off campus which are often far from campus, ill equipped and unsafe which affects students’ well being and academic performance as they get mugged their laptops and phones.When it comes to classes , the lecturer’s and professors of this University are very supportive, they ensure that every students understands what they are being taught and they try to engage with every student in class.
