StudentZADUT EducationI believe that Durban University of Technology is one of the best when it comes to its Arts & Design Faculty. It is innovative and strives for the best. I would highly recommend it because we also have extra curriculums and are able to have fun at the same time .Yes the infrastructure is quite old and is outdated but they do try to fix the infrastructure here and there. The lecturers in my department are truly friendly and make sure they get to know each student to the core. The student life is quite tough but doable.

the management communique is very poor especially on serios matters like Registration, Funding processes, Student housing.
Once you are registered and got an accommodation everything else is superb. Lecture venues are tricky to find which is just funny.

ThandokaziZAIt was a great experienceStudying in DUT was the greatest experience in my life, not only did I learn to be independent and take care of myself. The university made sure that we as young matriculants we are prepared for the outside world and helped us with relevant courses. We not only studied our supposed modules, but they added a few modules for life experiences and that was a win situation. The university has all the support system for students in any kind of depression and anxiety, clinics and students representative who makes sure students are well taken care of. I recommend Durban University of Technology to students, DUT is not just a university, it’s a society.
