NUS is a globally recognized university, and my time in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences has been fulfilling. The interdisciplinary approach to education allows students to explore various interests. I enjoyed the wide variety of modules available and the engaging teaching methods. However, the large class sizes can sometimes make it hard to get personal attention from professors. One thing I dislike is the stressful academic culture, where competition is fierce, and grades are heavily emphasized. That said, the campus is well-connected, and the student body is diverse, which adds to the vibrant learning experience. I would recommend NUS for its global exposure and strong academic reputation, especially if you’re looking for a balanced mix of academic rigor and a broad range of extracurricular activities.
