University of Sierra Leone made up of three colleges; Fourah Bay College, College of Medicine & Allied Sciences, and Institute of Public Administration and Business management. I attended College of Medicine & Allied Health Sciences studying B. Pharm(Hons). I spent a total of six academic sessions at the university. Life at COMAHS was full of ups and downs. Tuition were great at the time. The downside to tuition was the extreme heat in some lecture rooms as there was not functional air conditioner units, especially in the months of February and March when it is the hottest in Sierra Leone. The library is medium size for the only university in the country that trains pharmacists and doctors. Lectures with the medical students was great as it fosters competition and mutual respect and builds lifelong connections. One of my best professor was Dr. Clifford Kamara, a late man now. He used to lecture Community Medicine. In our early years in the course, he used to encourage us to work hard and do better or ourselves and for the society. Overall it was a great experience.
