I highly recommend it because it a business university and it has help alot of people to start up their own business. And moreover it is flexible.
The lecturers are professional and they are well trained.
I love that we had a flexible schedule and students get to focus on other things besides school work at all time. The professors elaborate and expand our knowledge by encouraging our research and presentation skills. I disliked that fact that the class gets populated and the noise can be too much
View moreUniversity of Sierra Leone made up of three colleges; Fourah Bay College, College of Medicine & Allied Sciences, and Institute of Public Administration and Business management. I attended College of Medicine & Allied Health Sciences studying B. Pharm(Hons). I spent a total of six academic sessions at the university. Life at COMAHS was full of ups and downs. Tuition were great at the time. The downside to tuition was the extreme heat in some lecture rooms as there was not functional air conditioner units, especially in the months of February and March when it is the hottest in Sierra Leone. The library is medium size for the only university in the country that trains pharmacists and doctors. Lectures with the medical students was great as it fosters competition and mutual respect and builds lifelong connections. One of my best professor was Dr. Clifford Kamara, a late man now. He used to lecture Community Medicine. In our early years in the course, he used to encourage us to work hard and do better or ourselves and for the society. Overall it was a great experience.

Overall, I am happy with my decision to study law at Fourah Bay College. I am confident that I will receive a high-quality education that will prepare me for a successful career in law.
Here are some of the things that could be improved:
The library could be better stocked with legal materials.
The university could provide more opportunities for students to gain practical experience in law.
The university could do more to promote international student exchange programs.
Despite these minor criticisms, I would still recommend Fourah Bay College to anyone who is interested in studying law. It is a great institution with a rich history and tradition.
