In my experience, this university is great for those students who work or have other activities in addition to studying because it is very flexible, you can watch classes online and live but you can watch a later recorded class and not miss anything.
As for the professors, there are really great lecturers, they are always there to further clarify the ambiguities. If you have a question and write an email to anyone at the university, you will receive an answer as soon as possible. When it comes to lectures and exams, it’s definitely best to learn when you’re in a live lecture but that doesn’t mean the results are lacking even though you’re online. Indeed, anyone who wants to learn can get a lot out of it by studying at this university.
Human Resource Management was an English taught program, one of the very few. I myself spoke Serbian so I did not have a hard time communicating with other students and professors but I do think other internationals struggled a little bit to fit in. One key thing I will mention is that having a car in Belgrade is a MUST!! The city is quite big and the public transport is not great. It is usually late, confusing or uncomfortable to use. The uni itself is not that big but it has everything it needs except a proper restaurant/cafe/canteen. As for the study in my opinion HRM was taught well, we had a lot of material on it and I was excited that I could additionally pick an elective language. I cannot speak for other programs but HRM at Singi would be a good choice if you’re from the Balkans or familiar with the Balkans.
View moreThe marketing program at Singidunum is taught in the Serbian language, the amount of people per course is bigger compared to the programmes taught in English. The campus is fairly small but is at a good location with several restaurants and cafes around it that students can visit. Belgrade is a great student city that is fairly cheap for leading a social and balanced lifestyle. The study material is not too much, the professors may sometimes seem disconnected from the lessons they teach, however, it is an overall professional and quality study environment. I think people that are both familiar and unfamiliar with the Balkans would enjoy this university, there are, however, not a lot of international students.
View moreThis faculty is very well organized, and the professors are dedicated to their students and give them a lot of attention. It is a really fulfilling topic to study with a lot of perspective in Serbia, as women’s rights and minority rights are big issues currently.
View moreIt is very good, you can really learn and study something you love and have the best professors for that. You can improve yourself every day and ask professors in everytime to help you when you don’t understand something.
