I find this university very well organised with prepared teachers. I have learnt new things during my studies, but still I believe that they can improve the system concerning the pedagogue courses and the practice in schools. We learn theoretic notions, but we do not learn how to practise it.
Moreover, the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics provide a lot of opportunities to study abroad.
Babes-Bolyai is a great university in the heart of Romania, it has many study programmes with highly trained teachers, partnerships with other universities from all over Europe and beyond. The best part is the city where it is located, Cluj-Napoca, it is always full of events, student life is awesome.
Cluj-Napoca is a great city for students and has a lot to offer. It safe, slightly expensive and young. There are around 5 great universities you can choose from, with multiple programs and great teachers.
Take advantage of the possibilities they offer like Erasmus, Work and Travel, student’s organizations, Internships and friends. UBB is one of the best universities in the country and the knowledge you get is very good but a little superficial in some subjects.
Choose carefully what subjects you want to study and attend all courses in order to get the most out of it.
I had a great time studying in Cluj at Babes-Bolyai University due to the available Erasmus scholarships and several awesome, open-minded professors within the Cluj-School of Public Health. That´s when I started volunteering for AEGEE-CLuj-Napoca and that opened a whole new world for me!
The communication between different offices could definitely be improved. Also, if all the Faculties of the University would have the same process and rules when coming to the Erasmus+ students (both outgoing and incoming), it would be much better and clearer for everyone involved.

I think the best thing about CAL was not always the Profs (although I had some good ones), but the caliber of my fellow students. I am very proud to have studied at CAL, that and working ...
