I am proud to say that I graduated from Qatar University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Public Relations.

My time at Qatar University was nothing short of extraordinary. The university provided me with numerous opportunities to challenge myself and grow both academically and personally. The international curriculum offered a diverse range of courses that allowed me to explore various aspects of mass communication and develop a well-rounded understanding of the field.

One of the highlights of my experience was the emphasis on practical learning. Qatar University provided hands-on experiences, such as internships and projects, which allowed me to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world scenarios. This practical approach greatly enhanced my skills and prepared me for the professional world.

Furthermore, the faculty and staff at Qatar University were exceptional. They were not only knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields but also supportive and dedicated to helping students succeed. The guidance and mentorship I received from them played a significant role in shaping my academic and professional journey.

Overall, my experience at Qatar University was transformative. It not only equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge but also instilled in me a sense of confidence and a passion for my chosen field. I am grateful for the invaluable experiences and opportunities Qatar University provided me, and I am excited to embark on the next chapter of my career.

I had an enriched experience with Qatar University in studying Biological Sciences, my study outcomes are highly competitive among graduates from other universities in terms of studies and hands-on experience. What distinguishes QU is the comprehensive curriculum, quality faculty, research opportunities, facilities and resources, and career preparation. However, I would suggest further improvements in the academic advising in terms of choosing the right advisor for the right program.

To be honest, I am now in the first semester, so I feel that I am very impressed with university life, how it seems completely different from school, and especially Qatar University, which is completely different from any university in Qatar in terms of the strength of education, its strong certificate, and its reputation that honors every person who learns and works in it, but the negative aspect of the university Its that there are a lot of assignments and research that the student must do, and this is very exhausting. Also, in the summer, we walk from one building to another building and the distance is approximately ten minutes, and the sun hits our heads. Regardless of these negatives, I advise any student who wants a degree strong in the Middle East it is the best option

I don’t really enjoy studying at the university because of the fact that there’s a huge preference and focus toward Arab students. Many opportunities tend to be for Qataris only or Arabs only. A lot of emails I receive tend to be in Arabic only, even the dean’s list ceremony is in Arabic. So as an English speaker, I feel quite excluded. On the other hand, most programs are segregated, meaning most colleges separate males and females. The entire university in general also separates the two. Sometimes it is nice for us to have our space but in the long run, it won’t benefit anyone, since the workplace isn’t segregated so it would be difficult for students to adjust to working with the opposite gender. With regards to the program itself, I am in the College of business and economics and the main issue I have with it is the fact that there are only 8 courses that are required to be completed for every major which I kind of feel isn’t enough. One pro of the university is that the tuition is very affordable, dorms are very affordable, and there is a bus service to transport students who live far away.
