View moreThe University of Coimbra is a highly-respected educational institution, but there are still areas where the student body can be improved. First, students should be encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities, such as clubs and sports teams, to foster a sense of community. Second, the university should create more opportunities for students to interact with local businesses and organizations, to help them gain practical experience and build relationships.
View moreIt’s my fifth year in the University of Coimbra, and I was already in two faculties (Faculty of Economics and Science and Technology). I would say the strengths of my university are the proximity with professors (they are very accessible), it’s not difficult to have good grades and, in this line of thought, this is good to have extracurricular activities (such as BEST), the fact that the city is small so it creates an incredible environment to study here! The weakness are the lack of investment in some facilities and projects, lives mostly by its fame and, sometimes refuses to change some aspects (like, it’s adverse to change the way professors deliver classes). Overall, I like studying in Coimbra and, right now, I wouldn’t change university!
