I was particularly impressed by the emphasis on practical training, which allowed me to gain real-world experience in hospitals and clinics. The international environment is another highlight, as I’ve made friends from all over the world. However, the workload can be intense, and the language barrier outside the university can be challenging at times. View moreStudying at the Medical University of Wroclaw is both a dream and a challenge for me. I have always wanted to become a doctor, and here I have the opportunity to learn from the best. One of the most unforgettable experiences was participating in practical classes at the hospital, where I could observe real medical cases. My goal is to specialize in cardiology, and the knowledge I am gaining here is invaluable. However, the intensity of the study program is a challenge – sometimes it is difficult to find time to rest. Despite this, the support from my colleagues and lecturers helps me get through difficult times. I expected medical studies to be demanding, but the reality exceeded my expectations in terms of both difficulty and satisfaction.

View moreAs an international student, I was initially nervous about adjusting to life in a new country, but the university made the transition much easier than expected. The professors are highly knowledgeable, and the teaching methods are focused on both theory and practical application, which I find very effective. The clinical placements, especially at some of Wrocław’s top hospitals, provide invaluable hands-on experience that really prepares us for the future. What sets this university apart is the strong sense of community among international students. There’s always someone to help with any issues, and the international office is supportive. The city of Wrocław is also a huge advantage – it’s vibrant, affordable, and full of student-friendly spots. While the coursework is challenging, it’s exactly what I was looking for in a medical program. The only area for improvement would be the administrative side, which can sometimes feel a bit slow, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to study medicine.
