Studying at SGH is intense, but it’s incredibly rewarding if you’re serious about economics and finance. The professors here aren’t just academics, many of them have real-life experience in consulting or government, which brings so much to the classes. My favorite course has been Macroeconomics because it feels so relevant to today’s economy, and we often discuss current events. The campus has a historic charm, and there’s a strong community vibe. SGH students are ambitious and driven, so you’re constantly pushed to improve. The networking events are amazing too – you can meet industry leaders and alumni who give valuable career advice. Socially, SGH is smaller than other Warsaw universities, but that makes it easier to connect with people. it’s challenging but very rewarding if you’re motivated to build a strong foundation in economics.
