After three years of hard work, every student deserves a proper graduation ceremony to mark this important achievement. Unfortunately, Collegium Civitas has disappointed us by canceling this year’s graduation, despite holding ceremonies in previous years. Many of us, including international students, signed a petition and made numerous efforts to make our voices heard, but the university ignored our concerns.
Graduation is not just about the students—it’s about their families, acknowledgment, and respect. Instead of meaningful recognition, we received silence and, at best, a symbolic gift like a bottle of water. For a university that claims to be international and student-centered, this response is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of care for its students.
