As a proud Viscan, my experience at Visayas State University was both enriching and transformative. The university offers a well-rounded education, especially in the sciences and technology. I studied Food Technology and found the curriculum challenging but practical, combining theory with hands-on lab work that prepared me for real-world applications.

What I appreciated most was the supportive academic environment. Professors were approachable and genuinely invested in our growth, both academically and personally. The campus itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature, which creates a peaceful atmosphere for studying and reflection.

However, like any institution, there are areas for improvement. Some facilities could benefit from modernization, and administrative processes can sometimes be slow. Still, these were minor setbacks compared to the overall value I received.

VSU instills discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic. It’s a place where you not only gain knowledge but also build character and lasting friendships. I would definitely recommend Visayas State University to anyone seeking a quality education grounded in values and excellence.
