Since joining UST, I have had some of the craziest experiences of my life. I have found the campus to be expansive, becoming home to many events, as well as catching up with my colleagues between lectures. The faculty members are quite laid back, always willing to assist, but however do encourage students to exert themselves. I am in the Nursing program and while it is tough, it has been a great learning experience.

UST’s campus is one of the main reason’s I enjoy studying at this institution. There is true diversity among the people in this institution, and they are extremely welcoming. Because of my spontaneous nature of joining groups and several activities, I’ve been privileged to befriend many wonderful people. The only thing that I didn’t like? The older buildings gave me trouble at times, but that also adds a sense of awe at having attended such an old school. All in all, it has been an amazing experience.

While the university has its own set of controversies, I attribute everything I have learned in the University of Santo Tomas. The Entrance Examination was one of the hardest I took, but it was worth it when I got to study in the university. Known for its health programs, the university strives to make a difference in the workforce of the country and abroad.
