Although my experience at PUP is still limited, I’ve already gone through the enrollment process — and that alone was quite an experience. It was tiring and draining, especially since we had to arrive earlier than expected. The course I wanted was a quota course, meaning it could easily reach full capacity, and arriving just on time might not guarantee a slot.

It was exhausting physically and mentally, but looking back, I believe it was worth it. All the effort, early wake-ups, and long lines paid off because I successfully secured the course I truly wanted. That moment made me feel proud and more motivated to push forward in my academic journey at PUP.

As of now, I haven’t had the chance to meet any professors or attend classes yet, since our classes haven’t officially started. I currently don’t have any particular person I admire or like in the university, as my experience is still very limited. However, I do appreciate that PUP is one of the most recommendable and well-known universities, especially recognized for its excellence in teaching the BSA course.

If there’s one thing I didn’t like based on my experience so far, it’s the lack of proper guidance during enrollment. It felt disorganized, and there weren’t enough people to assist us through the process.

But despite that, I would still recommend this university to anyone who may be financially challenged but is full of desire to achieve a comfortable and successful life. As I said, PUP offers one of the best teachings for the BSA course.

PUP has left a mark on me that remains fresh today. I met great people through student organisations and the professors seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. On campus, there is a great spirit, however, I will not lie, some of the areas really need renovation. Still, the feeling of belonging and the ability to develop personally made it all worthwhile. This is for sure a place for improvement

For me, PUP is okay. Because it is a public university, the facilities are not that good, but considering that the tuition is free, it is good for less fortunate students who want to finish. I have good and bad experiences in PUP just like the profs who are not that hard to teach, there are profs who are very passionate about teaching.

In terms of competitiveness and credibility, PUP can also compete with other known universities. However, it does not feel like that from the perspective of a student. The limited access to facilities and poor maintenance of these facilities are shown in the state of chairs, classrooms, and restrooms. There are also professors that rarely teach and when they do, it becomes a reporting only.

I like how the campus is designed, how some Professors are so kind to us, the various ways of teaching, and the vibe you get when you’re at the University campus. The campus is situated at a City, yet it feels like a province. Growing up from a far province, I feel at home when I’m at PUP.

I like this university because it is really affordable to study here. All you need to include in your budget are books, transportation expenses, clothing and meals.

But when it comes to learning quality, it is really compromised by the learning facilities and some incompetent instructors.
