My university offered a truly enriching environment where I was able to enjoy a wide range of experiences. Academically, I had the opportunity to learn from exceptional professors and participate in highly qualified laboratory sessions that helped strengthen my technical knowledge. The institution also fostered entrepreneurship, with classes focused on how to build a business and multiple opportunities to participate in events — many of which I helped organize and support as part of my growth. In addition, there were plenty of spaces to study and to connect with other students, which created a strong sense of community on campus. Overall, my university provided everything I needed during a key stage of my development, and I am very grateful because it played an important role in shaping who I am today.

View moreI had a very positive experience at Universidad del Norte. The university offers a strong academic foundation, especially in the field of Social Sciences and International Relations, which was my area of study. The professors are well-qualified and many have international academic backgrounds, which adds valuable perspective to the curriculum.
What I particularly liked was the campus environment — it’s modern, well-equipped, and promotes a strong sense of community. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in academic and cultural activities, and I appreciated the university’s focus on bilingual education and global engagement.
On the downside, at times administrative processes could be slow or unclear, especially when dealing with interdepartmental requests. However, this is something I found to be common in many large institutions and not unique to Uninorte.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Universidad del Norte to others, especially those looking for a solid education in a multicultural and well-structured academic environment in Colombia.
View moreUniversidad del Norte may not be a flashy name or something that just sticks with you the second you read it, whereas with it you start thinking about where is it from or how is it like due to its English translation: University of the North. Let me tell you a bit about this place and how it is revolutionizing the learning experience. At UNINORTE, as called, things tend to take a different route regarding the traditional educational system. The teachers and staff tend to be heavily more dynamic than any other educational system due to an specific group of creativity that is working 24/7 in order to engage the students and familiarize them with the university. The teachers by theirselves attend to different forums and meetings in order to come up with different strategies to engage the students not only with the university but with the class itself. Going into specific detail would literally be spoiling what is UNINORTE about, but what I can tell you is that there would be no way you would regret coming here if you are looking for an option in South America.
