1. Great Campus Life, highly recommended for grooming and exposure.
2. Amazing campus, surrounding in natural mountains and very aesthetic Infrastructure.
3. Education is very good but really tough cause of some policies.
4. A bit expensive than usual universities.
5. Some student policies for students are very strict and can cause a bit trouble for completion of degree.
6. Alumni Network is very extensive and helpful.

It offers a best student life in Pakistan. There is a value of Gikians in a market. But the administration of GIKI needs some improvement. Also GIKI is quite expensive compared to the other engineering institutions in the country.

It is a good university, has dedicated teachers. You will learn a lot being in this university from studies to time management, to how to present yourself and live in a remote place.

The courses are a little outdated but they teach the basics which helps a lot.

Apart from having topnotch education, GIK Institute is all about its campus life. Located in a small rural town,Topi, KPK (near Tarbela dam), GIK Institute attracts students from all over Pakistan who live on campus: in hostels.
Administration is fairly cooperative and studies are pretty tough considering that the grading is relative and not absolute. GIK offers engineering related and management sciences related programmes. Through 25+ societies that are active throughout the year, it provides all the opportunities one can need in order to pursue his/her passion (engineering or arts related) while studying for the opted degree. What we all find difficult at first is adjusting to its environment and keeping a balance between studies and extra curricular activities. GIK Institute is also endorsed with the ‘Washington Accord’ (search it up if you don’t know what it is) which makes its degree more valuable to companies for employment purposes and international educational bodies for higher education. With nation’s one of the best laboratories, buildings and strongest alumni, this place tests you, polishes you and prepares you to thrive in every aspect: your future is safe if you somehow manage to graduate from here.
P.s. This might not matter to most of you but to those it does; this place is very scenic with breath taking sunsets/ dawns all year around.
