Student review [#37064] for Urban Forestry
at University of Port Harcourt - Uniport

The University of Port Harcourt alias UNIPORT was founded in the year 1975.
It is currently ranked 5th in the whole of Nigeria because despite it being a federal university sponsored by the government, it’s known for excellent research, innovation and having impeccable lecturers with expertise in their various fields of teaching.
I am mesmerized by the fact that it’s one of the few schools in Nigeria that gives “value for money”
One thing I like about the university is the culture of immersing students in extracurricular activities and making it part of the school curriculum. However, the major downer is the fact that the university like most federal universities in Nigeria is part of an academic union called ASUU which holds incessant strike that can last up to a year and some months, this degrading factor aside i would definitely recommend the University of Port Harcourt as a great citadel of learning.
