The University of Ibadan offers a rich academic environment with some of the best lecturers and research opportunities in Nigeria. Its lush campus and historical legacy create a sense of pride among students. University of Ibadan, as the premier university in Nigeria has produced many academic intellectuals like Woke Soyinka and it is still maintaining this academic footprint. I appreciated the diverse student community and the quality of education. However, outdated facilities and inconsistent power supply made daily life challenging. Administrative delays were frustrating, especially during registration and result processing. Despite the drawbacks, the university’s academic strength and vibrant student life make it a valuable experience, though there’s room for improvement in infrastructure and student services.
