Salem University is an exceptional University that prioritizes student support and prepares students with core values through courses that will allow them to be objective, compassionate, and innovative in the workforce. Salem provides the core values of integrity, accountability, civility, and problem-solving. In addition, Salem provides a diverse environment and gives student the critical thinking skills in order to relate and participate in the global community. I like that the university engages their students in life skills to prepare them for the real world, and I also appreciate the supportive atmosphere of the the student advisors and student success team. They make sure that students are confident within themselves and they give them grace and understanding when necessary to make sure that each student has the ability to complete their course if they are willing to work hard and negotiate. Overall, there is nothing I would suggest to improve Salem University except providing more opportunities through forums and video interaction to allow online students to meet each other and connect if they like. That will provide an ice breaker because it may feel awkward for a student to reach out to their peer by themselves, and interact more confidently.
