Studying at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) has been a valuable experience overall. The academic aspect is solid, lecturers are knowledgeable, approachable, and committed to helping students understand their courses. The Biochemistry programme, in particular, provides a good blend of theory and practical experience.
However, campus life could be improved. Facilities such as laboratories, lecture halls, and hostels need upgrades, and extracurricular activities are quite limited. Despite these challenges, the environment is generally peaceful and conducive for serious academic work.
I would recommend OAUSTECH to students who value quality education and a calm atmosphere, but the school could do more to make campus life more engaging and lively.

What stood out is the campus life, it’s so simple compared to other universities

It’s a great place to learn, especially as the programs and students are in large numbers, compared to other public schools. The lecturers are always on hand and willing to help. What I dislike about the university is the lack of social life, which can be great in some cases, but a balance is always best.

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) has a strong academic focus on science and technology, which I fell in love with. The lecturers are so knowledgeable with top academic qualifications, and valuable research opportunities.
However, I believe the university could improve in campus facilities, which I belief do not meet the needs of the growing student body. While the infrastructure has improved, more attention is needed for student housing and support services.
